Mathnasium began with the realisation that there’s a better way to teach maths

My daughter was starting to dread maths at school. Since starting Mathnasium, she is excited to go to these maths lessons. Her confidence has noticeably increased in general and it has helped her improve greatly with what she is learning at school. Really pleased and relieved I found this place, it works for us. Craigieburn has a lovely team of tutors, the centre directors are dedicated and really understand our concerns and offered great advice too after meeting them and doing check ins with the parents. They all do an excellent job teaching.

Mathnasium Carlingford has helped my daughter recover lost steps in her maths learning. My daughter struggled with timetables, division and word problems. We needed her to get up to speed, so that she would not be left behind in high school. As she cannot be offered the one on one attention that primary school gives her. We are thrilled to see her confidence and her attitude has changed positively towards maths, she actually now enjoys it! The educators spend time explaining the methods to the children, and rewarding the kids progression. It’s a great environment, and would definitely recommend it, if your child is feeling lost or left behind.

Having our son attend Mathnasium Five Dock has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for his school development. He was falling behind in maths in Year 5, and we wanted him to feel more capable and confident before starting high school. Within just three months of joining, both we and his teacher noticed incredible improvements. He is now far more confident and competent in maths, and he absolutely loves attending twice a week. The team at Mathnasium — Sam, Allie and Vanessa — are always welcoming, enthusiastic, and genuinely know each child by name. The instructors, Jono, Xian, Zac and Alex, have been incredibly supportive and encouraging. The rewards program is also a great motivator and really keeps the kids engaged. My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for about a month now and we’ve had a really positive experience so far. Cynthia has been absolutely wonderful — extremely friendly and very generous with her time in explaining how the program works. From the start, she made us feel comfortable and confident in the approach. What I really love about Mathnasium is the one-on-one, personalised and tailored program. There is someone sitting with the children while they work and any mistakes are addressed immediately, helping them understand why they got something wrong. The program is also very flexible, allowing you to attend at times that suit you during the week. All the tutors we’ve encountered so far have been friendly, patient and knowledgeable, and my daughter is genuinely enjoying her sessions. It’s still early days, but we’re hopeful and excited to see her confidence and progress grow. We’re really glad we chose Mathnasium and are looking forward to great things ahead.

Ryan’s progress hasn’t been about rushing into advanced topics, but about building a solid foundation.
