At the heart of everything we do is the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines diagnostic assessments, personalized learning plans, and interactive instruction to promote math mastery.
Every student starts with a diagnostic assessment that helps us identify their current skills, strengths, and goals. From there, we build a personalized learning plan tailored to their needs and deliver live, face-to-face instruction in a caring and engaging group environment, in-center or online.
Yes! While our enrichment program is designed for students performing at or above grade level, we understand that every student's math journey is unique.
If your student has great potential and a real interest in going further, our specially trained tutors will work with them to build the foundational skills they need while introducing enrichment-style thinking and challenges at a pace that fits their current level.
The diagnostic assessment provides a clear picture of your student’s current strengths, areas ready for deeper exploration, and enrichment goals.
From there, we build a personalized learning plan that ensures students feel motivated and appropriately challenged from the very first session.
Although our math enrichment program typically entails content that’s beyond grade-level, our tutors are familiar with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Mathematics and can adjust each student’s personalized learning plan according to their school curriculum and long-term academic goals, including:
Moving into accelerated or honors math tracks
Preparing for advanced courses such as Algebra, Geometry, or beyond
Building skills needed for ISEE® and SSAT® exams
Supporting key academic transitions, such as from elementary to middle school math
