One-on-One Math Homework Help

My son loves math and his math knowledge is advanced for his age. We wanted a place where he could continue to pursue his love of math without the pressures of additional homework, while making it a fun environment to learn…which is why we chose Mathnasium! From the beginning, Itati was great in making sure Ethan’s assessment was thorough, so that his custom learning plan covered the areas he needed to improve while also keeping him challenged. The staff is warm and friendly! And I’m amazed how organized they are, considering there is a constant flow of kids going in and out of the center! What makes me happy is my son looking forward to his math sessions at Mathnasium :)

I highly recommend Mathnasium of Fresh Pond! Michael, the owner/director has been wonderful to work with and I’ve been impressed with all the instructors. In the six months we’ve been with the program, Mathnasium has filled in key knowledge/skill gaps for my middle school-aged daughter. In particular, her mental math has improved dramatically. I’ve been so happy with the program that I recently signed up my high school student as well. Here’s what I like most about Mathnasium: First, all work is completed at the Center with no homework. Even the school textbooks are available at the Center (for current homework help). So the kids don’t need to take anything there or bring anything home and there’s nothing for me to keep track of or remind them about. Second, my kids received customized learning plans based on written assessments that identified their strengths and weaknesses. I feel confident they are working on just the right topics at Mathnasium.

The staff and tutors in the Boot Ranch Palm Harbor, FL location are terrific. We loved that they have several slots for availability during the evenings and even Saturdays. The team was always very accommodating and would incorporate the units our son was working on in class into the worksheets so that he could keep pace with coursework while bolstering his foundational skills on the topics he still needed assistance with. They would also build additional questions in to help him prepare for any upcoming tests or state exams. He really enjoyed the opportunity to earn prizes and the additional social events they held. Over the past six months we saw a measurable improvement in his knowledge and would recommend their location for both children who are struggling and those who need to be challenged.

My son is 15 and has had a great experience this summer at Mathnasium. He really struggled in algebra towards the end of his freshman year. He had an assessment at Mathnasium, and they gave him a detailed learning plan with goals to shore up his pre-algebra and algebra skills, as well as geometry. He attended the summer session, and this has really set him up well for the start of the school year. I get notifications as he meets his goals, which is great. My son really likes the instructors, and Caitlyn has been great to work with, getting us set up with the assessment, explaining everything and helping me with scheduling. Highly recommend Mathnasium!

My daughter loves this place! She is always excited to come back, and really enjoys the time she spends at mathnasium. One of my favorite things as a parent is the email they send out with feedback and a summary of her session. I love hearing how she is doing and the progress made.

I used to hate math, honestly. Ever since I was young, I dreaded going to math class. I started going to Mathnasium in 4th grade, and I officially finished my journey there at the end of my junior year. Looking back, I can confidently say that I learned more math at Mathnasium than I ever did in school. I want to give a huge shoutout to all of the instructors there, especially Jonathan. He’s incredibly smart, not just when it comes to math, but in life overall. He started working there when I was in 7th grade, and I honestly couldn’t imagine learning from anyone else. The owner, George, was also amazing to work with and always made the environment welcoming and supportive. If you’re thinking about sending your child there, I would 100% recommend it.

We cannot thank the teachers at Mathnasium at Laurelwood enough. What started as a way to build our sons' confidence has turned into a full academic acceleration. They’ve mastered the art of making math rewarding through their prize system and supportive staff. But what really sets this location apart is the heart they put into their community; our 7 and 10-year-olds have had a wonderful time at the weekend events, from painting to gaming and eating pizza with other peers. It’s a fantastic environment for any learner to grow.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Mathnasium. My son has only been attending for about a month, but the difference we’ve seen already is truly night and day. He used to feel anxious about math, and now he actually looks forward to going. The minute he gets home from school he asks if it’s a Mathnasium day, which says everything. The staff here are incredibly kind, patient, and supportive. Every tutor we’ve encountered has taken the time to guide him gently and help build his confidence rather than making him feel pressured. That approach has made such a positive impact on his attitude toward learning. As parents, we’ve also noticed a big change in his confidence at school. he’s even started raising his hand more in class. That alone means so much to us. The environment, the culture, and the team at this location are all fantastic. We truly couldn’t say enough good things about them. We’re so grateful we found this place.

Khloe's grades have increased dramatically since starting at Mathnasium. Whatever system they have in place to help the children help build their foundation is working. All I can say is, "TRUST their system." Mrs. Dalal knows what works and the system WORKS!!!!! You'll see! We've only been there about a month. We come 2-3 days per week. She's now doing her work in class instead of staring at the walls because she's overwhelmed. She's so proud of herself. Thanks to Mrs. Dalal and all the great tutors at Mathnasium!!!!!

My daughter has been going to Mathnasium at the Princeton Plaza for a month. We have already started improvement on her math skills. She doesn't have a negative attitude toward math anymore. During the first couple of weeks, she was hesitant to go to Mathnasium. One day, she sat in the lobby area without my knowledge and waited for pickup without attending the class. Jennifer (one of the owners) saw her 15 minutes into class time and realized she was too anxious to sit with one of the teachers. She decided to tutor her one-on-one since that was what my daughter needed at the time. Jennifer ensured she got an hour of tutoring before leaving the center. She created a friendship with my daughter. Since then, my daughter has been going to Mathnasium without any resistance since she knows that at the center, there is a trusted adult who will take care of her if she gets anxious again. Thank you, Jennifer, for your caring attitude toward children. The other day my daughter said that she can do math even though she doesn't like it. I am sure we will lose the "does not like" part soon.

They’re amazing! My son actually looks forward to going to class. They’re very attentive and encourage positive growth by rewarding the kids with fun little items. All work is done while they are there no homework which I appreciate as parent. Weekly progress email. Highly recommended Mathnasium.

Mathnasium instructors and coordinators are so welcoming and wonderful. It feels like a small family! There is an ease to scheduling sessions as well as a text option if you need help! I love the flexibility and not being locked in to a specific time/day. My son has soared in math ever since starting in the summer and he is SO proud of his accomplishments. my son finished high school but being on the spectrum autism i was unsure how far he was taught in school when it came to math. i took a jump to have him tested and my result was no surprise but knowing that sending him to Mathnasium to catch up and learn more is no regret and worth paying for. he strives maybe slowely but willingly to learn i highly recommend any parent with a son in autism spectrum and who feels he has potential trial for college to evaluate him and have him take lessons at Mathnasium

Mathnasium has been an excellent choice for getting my kids up to speed with their math skills. We went to the Blossom Hill location, and they absolutely loved it. Their progress has been incredible, my oldest is now in advanced math in middle school! I'm so glad we invested in this program.While not all locations are the same, the Blossom Hill location stands out for its experienced, dedicated tutors. They take their tutoring sessions seriously and are always fully engaged with the students. Unlike other places, you won’t find tutors distracted by their phones or just handing out worksheets for the kids to work on independently. The tutors here are hands-on and truly invested in the students' success.I highly recommend Mathnasium, especially for kids who feel unsure or timid about math. Our kids gained so much confidence, and their skills improved significantly!

We started at Mathnasium a year ago, switching from another program. After the Mathnasium's initial assessment, we were very surprised to learn that our son was "right where he was supposed to be", basically at grade level, even after doing the other program for a few years. Fast forward a year and now he is already doing math problems one and a half grade level ahead. This was an amazing jump in such a short time. Recently we also started our daughter there. Both kids enjoy it very much, actually look forward to it. We didn't realize they had a love for math prior to this. Would definitely recommend!

My daughter really enjoys the engaging lessons and the reward system built into mastery of skills. She never complains of having to go and actually think it’s a lot of fun!
