Mathnasium has been amazing during this unprecedented time of crisis. They haven't missed a beat and have remained the constant for my son during this period of such upheaval. My son and daughter have been attending Mathnasium since it opened a few weeks ago. My son, in particular, is not a fan of going above and beyond when it comes to any "extra work". Initially I had no intention of signing him up for the program. He came with me one day to pick up my daughter and was fascinated by the fun and engaging atmosphere created by Jasmin, the owner. In particular he responds well to incentives of which there are many on display! Bottom line? He asked me if i would sign him up to go! This is unprecedented in out family! Since enrolling he has asked to go every day, and I've actually had to limit him! "In sum" I'd recommend Mathnasium to anyone looking to augment their child's math experience in a positive way.

My girls (2nd and 3rd grade) have been going here for 4 months now and they absolutely love it. I love how they return home with their homework already completed. The incentive system there is so strong it keeps my kids wanting to go back. My daughters went from crying over math homework every night, to completing it at school before they come home and then bringing their workbooks home to get ahead of their class!! By the end of the marking period, one had a 99% in math and the other had a 100%. When we spoke at parent teacher conference, neither of their teachers wanted to talk about math because the girls, they said, were very independent with it and had no problems. This is a BIG change from earlier in the year and all last year when they were behind their class and scoring so low that they qualified for remedial help and pull-out services. We have a preschooler at home and they already taught him how to add. I love the flexible scheduling versus how some other centers have designated hours and days. The flexibility here has allowed us to participate in Mathnasium while working around the girls’ sporting schedule and practices. They can also go as often as they need without any additional fees. The staff and director are extremely nice and friendly.

Mathnasium of Northern Silver Spring was very instrumental in helping me to overcome a difficult college level algebra final exam. After explaining to them over the phone that I needed a tutor, with only a week to prepare, I was able to set up appointments and gain a better understanding of the math problems I would face on the test. The managers and tutors were exceedingly friendly, welcoming, helpful and very precise in their efforts to help me succeed. I'm grateful that they had a genuine interest in me, and that's what propelled me the most. Many thanks!

Mathnasium Vista is a game changer for math. In January last year, after realizing that my child's teacher had let her completely slip through the cracks, I knew we needed help and just reviewing wasn't going to be enough. She needed to be re-taught math. After researching different programs, I enrolled my child in Mathnasium. I liked that they gave her an assessment and made her binder specifically tailored to her needs. Mathnasium has exceeded my expectations. Months later, when she began the new school year, she was at grade level and understanding math perfectly. Her confidence has soared, and she has been able to boast that she's been able to solve the classroom math problem first. We continue attending Mathnasium because I want her to work through all 4 math processes at Mathnasium. They teach to understand math, not just do math. Kris, Boyce and the rest of the team create a great environment , and they are great people to work with. Mathnasium Vista has has played a priceless role in my child's lifelong relationship to math.

My daughter has been at Mathnasium for about a year now and we love it. All of the stuff are amazing and always greet her by name. She has caught up to her grade level, filled in those missing skills, and is doing much better with math in school. We also love that we can take break so we need to like going away over the summer if we had extended plans. Definitely recommend.

Mathnasium has been great for my 4 year old! We put her in mathnasium to give her a head start and gain confidence prior to starting school. The curriculum is engaging and is teaching her to recognize words, write, and critically think in addition to learning math. The staff is patient with her being so young, adapts to her inability to read yet, and supports her to think through new concepts. The scheduling is very flexible and can easily be done online. My daughter loves going to math and is always asking to go! I highly recommend if you’re wanting to give your child a head start and a love for learning young.

Mathnasium is a great learning center for kids struggling with math or want to improve. My daughter confidence in math improved so much. They help with homework, upcoming tests, or just questions you are confused or need more understanding on. They have personal binders for each kid filled with curriculums and concepts. It’s truly an amazing center!

This place is Fantastic! My little one asks me daily when she is going back for more. She’s grown by leaps and bounds in just over a month and her enthusiasm continues. It’s really built up her confidence in math. We highly recommend this location!
