Mathnasium Began With the Realization That There's a Better Way To Teach Math

Mathnasium came highly recommended to us through a trusted friend. It did not disappoint! We are so lucky to have such a gem in the neighborhood. Everyone there is welcoming and good natured, and my son loved the atmosphere there. He left mathnasium feeling confident that he was going stay on top of things and even get ahead.

My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for almost 1 year now and it’s one of the few after school activities that she actually likes! I’ve seen drastic improvement in her math skills as she has been scoring higher on her math quizzes and tests at school. Highly recommend to anyone who wants their kid getting ahead at school!

My daughter went to a private school and then switched to public. She was 2 grades behind in math. Mathnasium was a perfect fit for her to catch up, while also staying on track with her grade-level work in high school. The tutors were great and she actually enjoyed going.

We love Mathnasium! My daughter is in first grade and is already close to mastering second grade math. One of the things I love most about this program is that my child can attend three one-hour classes each week. The flexible scheduling is another huge plus because we can choose the class times that work best for us. What I appreciate most is how much the instructors care about each child. They pay close attention to every student during class, and they also send regular feedback by email so parents can keep track of their child’s progress. I really appreciate their thoughtful communication and dedication. It gives me confidence that my child is in good hands, and I highly recommend this program to other families.

We absolutely love Mathnasium! My daughter has been attending for about four months, and I’m so grateful we found it. Very happy with Mathnasium Denville. Debbie does a wonderful job with making the environment so positive for the kids. The program is rigorous, and really helps with foundational gaps in their Math education. I wished I had signed up earlier, but saw the need for my kids once they reached high school. The hours are very flexible and accommodating to busy schedules. My kids have grown stronger and more confident in Math and we are very happy with the progress.

The staff and center director have always been amazing—friendly, professional, and truly dedicated to helping students succeed. My children made great progress in their math skills thanks to the support they received here. We’ve been coming for years and only recently switched to the Alhambra location because it’s closer to home, but we’re so grateful for everything this center has done for our family. My son loves Math and always a step -ahead. Miss Betty developed a learning plan for him to identify his learning gaps and is now mastering them. As school just started, we just want to express how extremely HAPPY and GRATEFUL we are of Mathnasium of Walnut in preparing our kids (1st grader and 5th grader) for the school year. Our kids enrolled in Mathnasium during the summer and we have to say that their math curriculum had really prepared them for the school year. Our kids have such great confidence in doing math and every single math homework were done accurately and without any difficulties. We truly believe that Mathnasium had helped our kids excel in math and overcome math challenges. I really liked the experience with this center. My son needs more of an enrichment and he gets bored easily if there is too much repetition. Robbie ensured to monitor the progress and tailored multiple topics so that my son wasnt bored. Robbie is also very professional, friendly and always accomodating when we had to adjust the schedules. Highly recommend this place.

Mathnasium is the best tutoring for math ever - the teachers are fun and kind, making it a lot more approachable. My son has progressed a lot in the last 2 months. Happy we decided to join!

My first grader has been thriving at Mathnasium since he started last school year. My spouse and I were initially looking for ways to help our child hone his math skills and focus on certain areas that were more difficult for him, and we realized that the way math is taught now has changed greatly since our elementary school days; it was a bit intimidating as parents to know where to start. When our family was researching learning centers, the team at Mathnasium stood out as true math experts that give 1:1 lessons tailored to the student. The emphasis is on guided learning from their specialists, instead of adding more homework that parents have to supervise. Their approach really resonated with us. Betty, the owner, and all the staff are kind, encouraging, knowledgeable, and patient. I feel at ease being able to drop my child off and leave him in their capable hands. My child tell us that he enjoys the lessons, and it is a great supplement to what he is learning in his school curriculum. The instructors have equipped him with tools to help him think logically and truly problem solve. The sessions have helped him improve his concentration and focus. He also loves earning prizes, and we appreciate the special events like the Summer Party and claw machine days. We were also impressed with Mathnasium's community involvement, as they support events, such as STEAM Night, for several of the local schools. We would highly recommend Mathnasium of Mukilteo!
