• We arrange their learning plans in an order to concentrate on the skills that they need most.
• We ask our students what they might like to work on.
• We really pay attention and listen to the answer we get from them.  If needed, we accommodate them by assigning PKs related to school materials as they currently being taught.
• While we are working on helping their school assignment, we discuss why the prerequisite skills are important, because having those knowledge makes life so much easier.
• We help them to some extent with school homework, and they are willing to do more Mathnasium material.
• We build a relationship of trust with all of our students – we let our students know we are willing to help and we care them.
• We place the reinforcement of learning the missing prerequisite skills strategically.
• We evaluate and adjust student’s learning plan frequently to meet the students’ needs to master the topics they are learning at school.
