Autumn's Mathnasium Journey to Ownership

Mathnasium of Palm Harbor is entering an exciting new chapter as it proudly welcomes Autumn Koutsos as its new owner. Autumn brings with her more than a decade of experience within the Mathnasium family and a deep passion for the life-changing impact that happens every day inside our centers.

Autumn began her Mathnasium journey in 2016 as a Center Director at a local Tampa Bay Mathnasium location, where she quickly fell in love with the Mathnasium Method and, more importantly, the magic she witnessed firsthand, students gaining confidence, improving their math grades, and realizing they were capable of tackling any math challenge put in front of them. What started as a career path toward becoming an elementary school teacher soon evolved into a calling as she saw how profoundly Mathnasium transforms students’ academic lives and futures.

In 2022, Autumn expanded her impact nationwide by stepping into the role of Franchise Business Consultant at Mathnasium Home Office in Los Angeles. In this position, she supported Mathnasium centers across the country, helping them grow, refine best practices, and serve more students with exceptional educational experiences.

Now, Autumn is returning to a local center, because that is where the real magic of Mathnasium truly happens. It’s in the centers where students build confidence, stop fearing math, achieve better grades, and gain the assurance they need to pursue any college major without worrying about math holding them back. The day-to-day interactions, breakthroughs, and smiles are what make Mathnasium so powerful, and Autumn is excited to be back where she can see that impact unfold in real time.

This new venture brings over 10 years of Mathnasium experience and best practices from across the country to Mathnasium of Palm Harbor. Autumn is committed to enhancing the educational landscape of the Palm Harbor community by fostering a positive, encouraging environment where students develop a genuine love for math and the confidence to succeed.

Autumn’s return to the Palm Harbor area is more than a homecoming, it’s a mission. Her journey from aspiring teacher to leader within the Mathnasium network reflects a steadfast commitment to changing lives through education. “Mathnasium changed my life, and now I get to use Mathnasium to change the lives of students in our area,” she shares.
