Mathnasium of Parkville is a math-only learning center dedicated to helping K–12 students of all skill levels learn, understand, and truly enjoy math. Our mission is to transform how students think and feel about math, building confidence and developing critical problem-solving skills along the way.
We provide face-to-face tutoring in a fun, small-group environment, both in-center and online, to ensure each student receives the attention and support they need.
Every session is guided by our specially trained instructors who actively engage with students, ask questions, and offer caring guidance at every step of their math journey.

At the heart of Mathnasium of Parkville is our Center Director, Ella Harris.
Ella’s journey into math education began at age 10, when her father introduced her to algebra. That early spark led to a lifetime of learning: she went on to take every math course available throughout grade school, double-majored in Mathematics and High School Education, and earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Today, as a true lifelong learner, she continues to pursue graduate coursework in mathematics and statistics.
With decades of tutoring and classroom experience, Ella has become an expert in recognizing how different students learn best. She uses that insight to adjust her approach and help each child build lasting understanding and confidence in math.
At Mathnasium of Parkville, Ella is excited to combine her deep mathematical knowledge with her love of helping students thrive. Her leadership brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a sense of community to the center, along with a bit of fun.
When she’s not working with students or studying new math concepts, you might find Ella reading, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, or cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
