Always happy with our experience at Mathnasium of Burlington! All the teachers are courteous, knowledgeable and kind. My son and I have nothing but good things to say about his time with this wonderful math team! Highly recommend for all types of learners.

My daughter used to do Kumon, which was good as well. But ever since she started at Mathnasium, she has been so happy. She truly loves going there. I also really appreciate that they help kids with their schoolwork in addition to math concepts. I would highly recommend Mathnasium to all my friends and family who are looking for a great math program for their children.

My daughter experienced several years of delays in mathematics and developed a strong fear of math class. During her first assessment, she was so anxious that she cried. However, after one month of tutoring and attending Mathnasium, I am very happy to see that she now enjoys going every day. We are looking forward to seeing improvements in her grades starting next semester.

We started going this summer and I see a huge improvement in my daughter’s confidence when it comes to math. She went from I’m scared of math to I love math! The instructors are all amazing and are great with kids. I love that they do progress checks every month and that we can tailor the program to add things that she may need practice on or topics that she is interested in. Biggest perk is the flexibility of not having a set time to go each week. Having a window of time they are open on the weekends is great and helps give us more flexibility. The stamp cards and the games at the end of class give the kids something fun to look forward to as well. We go to the Encino location and love it! Highly recommend you stop by and do an assessment. They also help your child with math homework if you would like them to do it during their session. I like that they make math fun and do not give the kids homework. Shoutout to Sam and all the wonderful instructors that make my child want to keep progressing and learning math!

We have been very impressed with Mathnasium so far! My son actually said “I like math!” On the way home last week… I would have never imagined in a million years he would ever say that as he has struggled for so long! Thank you Mathnasium for building his confidence and his “like” for math! 🥰

This place has been nothing short of absolutely amazing and wonderful for my 13-year-old 8th grade daughter. She was behind on math and The staff have been amazing on helping her get caught up. Sam Has been wonderful to work with And I’m just so thankful for everyone at mathnasium.

We visited this place for an evaluation of our daughter and were impressed with the setup. They truly make math enjoyable for kids. They recommended we return in a year since our daughter just turned five and might need more patience to sit through a full class. We especially appreciated the one-on-one teaching approach for addressing doubts

I would highly recommend this center for math support and enrichment. Our 7 year old daughter has advanced, as demonstrated on her MAP testing and everyday application. She really connects well with her instructors and they have found ways to motivate and incentivize her, even while doing sessions remotely. The instructors are engaging and patient and really care. They were able to keep her focus for a full hour even even when she started at the age of 5 (almost 6). I have had great interactions with the center directors as well. They are very accommodating and passionate about what they do. I appreciate how they have helped my daughter build her mathematics confidence and knowledge to above grade level. My 3rd grader was struggling and even failed his first term in math. I decided to enroll him at Mathnasium, and it was the best decision ever! Peter and the whole team worked closely with me, guiding and supporting my son every step of the way. Just a week before his chapter exam, he passed with only one mistake! My child was performing on grade level in math and based on feedback from his math teacher, it seemed like he had the potential to move on to higher level material. Based on a recommendation from another family, I decided to enroll my child at Mathnasium. Since my child has started attending Mathnasium, I feel like he has been advancing his math skills and is being appropriately challenged. He is learning and enjoying it at the same time. I attribute this to the relaxed and inviting environment at Mathnasium. Shonte, the center director, is wonderful. She is welcoming, encouraging, and helpful towards all the students and families. The staff at Mathnasium are work very well with my daughter. They are building her confidence in math. The owners Mr. and Mrs. Connor have been so kind and helpful to us. You can see their commitment and passion for what they are doing in their actions and the way that they interact with the students and families. .

My daughter has made tremendous strides at Mathnasium and highly recommend it for any age. My daughter started in Kinder and she was a GT student however she struggled in math and did not like the challenge of it. Now after a year and continuing to attend mathnasium she has much more confidence and is excelling a great pace as she enters 1st grade this year. She is excited to show her teachers how much she knows. She is definitely performing at a very high level for her age.

At first, my son wasn’t very interested in going to math class and only agreed to try a few sessions. But after the second session, he completely changed his mind and asked me to sign him up for more—and for longer sessions, too! Mathnasium has been amazing—they really know how to motivate kids and make math fun.

Two of my children have attended Mathnasium for enrichment and both of them enjoyed it, my older one even begs to go on days that she isn't scheduled. Everyone my kids have worked with have been kind, helpful and smart! The assessments they give can easily pinpoint the areas where the kids need extra work and I have been amazed at how quickly they have grasped new concepts. They don't even consider it "work" and more like a fun place to go! :)

Mathnasium is the best choice in many aspects! It is not just about enhancing your skills in math. What I appreciate the most about this place is that it teaches your kids many good qualities they need in life. The logical thinking, different application you could apply in problem solving, persistence, and that confidence of believing yourself, all necessary skills. And that changes a lot when they meet an obstacle in life. The good variety of tutors are a plus too. Without having older siblings or cousins around, my kids get a peek of what life is like in higher grades - talking about school life in general and some other issues (not during their sessions though, LOL). Their reward system also plays a positive role. The kids get some good amount of competition, develop plans to earn higher rewards, but also enjoy small goodies from time to time. Jake and Kat are always in reach and listen to your concerns and goals when planning the next upcoming sessions. My kids were good in math, but now they are much better in many aspects! I strongly recommend this branch. Thank you Mathnasium!

We've been with Mathnasium for a full year now, and I finally feel ready to share a thorough review. Our experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and it's been great to watch how the program has grown and adapted to meet kids where they are academically. When we first started, students had to work through each grade level sequentially, which wasn't ideal for kids like my daughter. She was in third grade but working on both first-grade and third-grade concepts at the same time. I’m glad to say that Mathnasium recognized this and made adjustments. During the school year, they now help students with current schoolwork while still addressing foundational gaps. Over the summer, she was able to shift focus and rebuild core skills in a more flexible way. Even during the school year, those foundations are continuously reinforced, which I really appreciate. They’ve also improved their scheduling system, making it more convenient. My only suggestion would be to offer sessions at staggered times—like 3:30 or 4:30—instead of just on the hour. That would provide a bit more flexibility for families with tight schedules. Another positive change has been the introduction of daily session updates. Since I’m not always the one dropping off or picking up, I find these updates incredibly helpful. One feature I’d love to see added is a summary of how many reward tickets a student has. As a parent, it’s nice to be aware—especially since my daughter is saving up for a Roblox gift card instead of spending her tickets on candy! It would also be helpful to have visibility into staff changes. While turnover hasn’t been high, knowing when there are new instructors helps us understand the different teaching styles our children may experience. Additionally, they provide a monthly calendar; if there were a way for parents to access that easily, it would be a great resource. Most importantly, I’ve seen real growth in my daughter’s math skills. Her mental math has improved significantly. She’s capable of so much (though she can be a bit stubborn—no fault of the instructors!). The staff has been incredibly patient and effective in meeting her where she is, without pushing her to the point of frustration. My 7 year old has been attending for a little over a month and has HATED math for the past couple years. She goes without complaint (which says A LOT lol) twice a week and the results are already evident in her latest math grades. Mathnasium has really built her confidence and she's enjoying the program.
