Ashley is a seasoned educator who’s worked with students all the way from elementary school up to college in subjects like Maths, Science, English, History, and Rhetoric. She also has a degree in Illustration from Seattle Pacific University and has spent a lot of time working with students who have dyslexia and dyscalculia. Ashley really cares about creating a space where all students feel supported, engaged, and confident to improve their maths skills!
Her background in both business and art helps her connect with students and families in ways that are easy to understand and meaningful. At Mathnasium, Ashley is pumped to help students on their learning journey, making maths both fun, relevant to their current goals and understandable!
Indi has a Bachelor of Business from Auckland University of Technology, and comes with a background and passion for youth development. She’s full of positive energy and brings an empowering approach that motivates students and instructors to do their best. Her organisational skills and experience working with a diverse range of youth ensure our students get the curated attention they need to succeed.
Her background working at youth centres, organisations and schools means students will have a smooth and positive experience with their maths journey here!
Sam is pursuing a degree in psychology. Ever since she was very young she has been working with students to help them improve their maths both personally and professionally. Through her years of experience she has fostered a love of teaching. She is an expert at helping students' confidence grow!
Sam enjoys encouraging students to think creatively and solve problems in new ways. The best part of teaching for her is watching students gain confidence and find different methods to tackle challenges.
Sarah is an instructor who loves making the complex a little bit easier. She is studying nursing at Monash University and has loved STEM subjects even through school. She is known on the team for her warm approach and encouraging energy! In her spare time she enjoys watching shows, going to the mountains or just travelling somewhere new - next stop hopefully exploring all the little islands around Australia. One of the things she loves about Mathnasium isn't just getting to know students and what works for them but being able to help them enjoy learning.
Issy is a multinational multi-talent with a background in New Zealand, Singapore, Korea, and Japan! She is studying Biomedical Engineering at The University of Melbourne. She has attained high achievement in STEM while also nurturing a passion for the arts and how they intersect. She is excellent with a variety of maths methods and has a great talent for helping students extend their existing knowledge to understand new material.
One of her favourite things about teaching is helping students nurture love of learning and taking it with them from the centre to apply it to their lives as a whole.
Issy is a big fan of art and loves oil painting when not teaching or studying.
Aayush has developed a skill for tutoring from an early age and working with family members inspired him to pursue teaching. He is highly observant of student's individual learning needs and is extremely good at pinpointing the best approach for his students as they’re exploring materials in-session.
