Rachel

Instructor

Rachel holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education and is a certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers. With years of tutoring experience, she enjoys helping children gain confidence and understanding in math. 

Her fun and caring approach creates a positive learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. 

Aiden

Instructor

Aiden is a fourth-year Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering student at McMaster University. His enthusiasm for STEM shines through in his teaching, where he inspires students to see how math connects to the world around them. 

He hopes to pursue a career in biomechanics, designing prosthetic devices that make a difference in people’s lives. 

Joseph

Instructor

Joseph is a Life Sciences student at McMaster University who has been teaching at Mathnasium of Ancaster for three years. His experience volunteering at a Korean language school sparked his love for teaching and mentoring young students. 

He’s always finding creative and engaging ways to make math fun, believing that “teaching is the best way to learn.” 

Savas

Instructor

Savas is pursuing a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) at McMaster University. His passion for math began in elementary school, and he enjoys sharing that excitement with students every day. 

At Mathnasium, Savas focuses on helping students strengthen their math skills while developing confidence and curiosity. He loves connecting with learners of all ages and watching their progress grow. 

Cady

Instructor
Cady is a graduate of McMaster University in the Honours Mathematics and Statistics program. Throughout her high school career, she thoroughly enjoyed tutoring students of all ages in math and helped them develop an appreciation for the subject. Cady strongly believes that math is a fun, exciting language that can be learned and enjoyed by everybody and shares that belief with the students. She plans on pursuing a career as a mathematics university professor.

Roxxannia

Instructor
Roxxannia is a current student at McMaster University studying Engineering, Physics, and Biomedical Engineering. She has participated in and won multiple Math contests throughout her middle and high school career. She hopes to use her math skills as well as her many year of tutoring experience to help students learn the Mathnasium Method.

Joanne

Instructor
She is a current student at McMaster University studying Health Sciences. Over the years she has gathered experience working with dozens of children from all paths of life. She hopes to continue educating children in their early years as these are the most crucial to their development as learners. Her future aspirations are to become a healthcare provider for children as a pediatrician.

Noah

Instructor
Noah is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Mathematics and Statistics from McMaster University. He is very passionate towards mathematics and uses this passion to inspire students to develop an appreciation for math. He loves working with kids as he provides a fun but efficient work environment. He is currently pursuing a field in the actuarial science field. In Noah's free time he loves to play sports and spend time with his friends.

Clare

Instructor
Clare is currently entering her fourth year at McMaster University. Mathematics has been a passion of hers since the beginning of high school and she hopes to work in a finance-related field after school. She loves to help others learn and understand different concepts as math has always been fun for her and she hopes she can help others enjoy it as well. Clare loves the Mathnasium environment as it gives students a safe space to ask any questions they need answered, and allows them to build confidence in their math skills. When she's not teaching others math or working on her own math skills, Clare loves to read fiction novels, watching her favorite TV shows, and spending time with her friends.

Josh

Instructor
Joshua is a passionate high school senior who not only excels in mathematics and the sciences but also shares his love for these subjects as a dedicated Mathnasium instructor. His ability to convey complex mathematical concepts with clarity and enthusiasm has made him an invaluable instructor to fellow students. If you need someone to calculate the probability of a piano falling from the sky while composing a symphony in E=mc², Josh is your guy!

Luka

Instructor
Luka is a high school senior whose love of math reaches beyond the classroom, and he's discovered a passion for sharing that enthusiasm with others at Mathnasium. He enjoys helping others unravel the mysteries of math and revels in seeing their eyes light up when the concepts are mastered and everything clicks. As an added bonus, he appreciates that while helping others learn, he is constantly reinforcing his own math skills. Luka plans to make a career in math and science.
