Hello! I’m An Le, the Centre Director of Mathnasium of Cochrane. I hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Calgary. My passion for teaching started early — I became a Calculus Teaching Assistant in my second year of university and continued teaching math and biomedical engineering labs throughout my graduate studies, earning the UCalgary Teaching Excellence Award in 2015.
My professional journey began at a proudly Canadian company developing diagnostic software used by top hospitals worldwide, and later at another Canadian company, a world leader transforming the legal experience for all. From my very first job, I found joy in mentoring interns, co-ops, and new engineers — a passion for guiding others that has never left me.
I’m also a natural multitasker who loves learning new skills and isn’t afraid to ask questions to keep growing. But teaching has always been my true calling. I believe that confidence in math helps children feel confident in everything else. At Mathnasium of Cochrane, my goal is to make learning math an uplifting, engaging experience that builds both skills and self-belief in every student.
I can’t wait to welcome you and your child to our centre, nurture their potential, and help grow the next generation of confident thinkers and future builders of our country.
Howdy! I’m Gabe Delisle, a software engineering student at the University of Calgary. I love working with kids of all ages and I find it rewarding to get to know about each student’s interests and using those interests to put math problems into real world scenarios. My goal is not only to encourage students to succeed, but also to enhance their problem solving abilities and show them that there is indeed a fun way to learn. In addition to my pursuing my goals, I enjoy travelling and look forward to seeing more of the world, music, technology, and hockey (Go Habs!)
Hello, my name is Ashley, and I am a grade 12 student at Bow Valley High School in Cochrane. My favorite subject has always been math! I have two younger brothers and several years of babysitting experience, which has given me the opportunity to work with kids of different ages and personalities. I plan to attend SAIT in the next could of years to become a paramedic in Calgary. I’m very excited to be a part of the Cochrane Mathnasium team and look forward to helping students understand math, build confidence, and reach their full potential!
