Tatsiana graduated with honours from the University of Mogilev, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Education and qualifications as a math and physics teacher. From 2005 to 2015, she taught in Moscow, Russia, where her students consistently excelled in exams, science projects, and math contests.
With over a decade of international teaching experience, Tatsiana brings a deep understanding of how to help students succeed. She is passionate about making math engaging and meaningful, and looks forward to helping every child reach their full potential at Mathnasium.
Sapir studied English Literature but discovered her true passion in helping children learn mathematics. She enjoys guiding students through challenging concepts and takes pride in creating a warm, supportive learning environment where they can thrive.
Her favourite moments are when students’ faces light up with understanding after mastering a difficult problem. Sapir believes that learning math builds not only academic strength but also confidence, patience, and curiosity—skills that serve students well beyond the classroom.
Emma is currently studying Health Sciences at McMaster University. She has extensive experience working with children as both a gymnastics coach and a camp counsellor, which has strengthened her ability to motivate and connect with young learners.
At Mathnasium, Emma combines her love for teaching with her enthusiasm for mathematics. She enjoys seeing students grow more confident with each lesson and believes that learning math can be both challenging and fun when approached with creativity and encouragement.
Ali is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto, following his Master’s degree in the same field from the University of Manitoba. His strong academic background and problem-solving mindset allow him to explain complex ideas clearly and patiently.
Ali enjoys working with students of all levels and helping them strengthen their understanding of math. He believes that mathematics is a foundation for innovation and critical thinking, and he strives to inspire students to see its beauty and real-world relevance.
Mi graduated from Seneca College with a degree in Biology and brings a scientific curiosity to her teaching. She believes that math is the foundation of understanding the world around us and enjoys sharing that perspective with her students.
At Mathnasium, Mi creates a calm and encouraging learning atmosphere where every child feels supported. She loves seeing students gain confidence as they begin to see math not just as a subject, but as an essential skill that connects to everything in life.
