Akshay has been with Mathnasium since 2019, advancing from instructor to Centre Director through his passion for helping students succeed in math. He holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Business Management, and has taught students from elementary through post-secondary levels.
He loves seeing students transform their confidence through clear instruction and encouragement. Whether it's building problem-solving skills or changing how a student sees math, Akshay believes success always adds up at Mathnasium.
Ritika joined Mathnasium in 2022 and brings over eight years of experience in teaching mathematics. She holds a postgraduate degree in Mathematics and is committed to making math both engaging and accessible for students of all ages.
She fosters a supportive learning environment that encourages students to grow and succeed. In her free time, Ritika enjoys music, gardening, cooking, and spending quality time with friends.
Naz has been a valued part of Mathnasium of Kitchener since the centre opened. She holds an undergraduate degree from WLU and a teaching certificate from Western University, and brings strong classroom and tutoring experience to her role.
Naz is passionate about making math fun and approachable for every student. Outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys baking, arts and crafts, puzzles, and spending time with her pets.
Natcha is a Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo and joined Mathnasium of Kitchener in 2023. Her love for math developed after a teacher helped her truly understand the subject, and now she’s excited to pass that passion on.
She helps students discover how fun and rewarding math can be. In her free time, Natcha enjoys reading, being outdoors, and cooking new recipes.
Rayyan joined Mathnasium in 2024 and is currently studying Accounting, Audit, and IT at Conestoga College. He brings prior tutoring experience and a strong passion for teaching and numbers.
Rayyan enjoys helping students break down complex concepts and build lasting confidence in their math skills. When he’s not at the centre, you’ll find him playing basketball, exploring new places, or spending time with friends.
Navreet is a dedicated and passionate individual who values working with children as a combination of knowledge and fun. As an OCT certified professional and degrees in Math, she demonstrates an unwavering commitment to student safety and wellbeing. Navreet is known for implementing strict safety protocols, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment, and conducting regular safety drills to ensure the highest standards of care. Her enthusiasm for education and dedication to creating a safe learning space makes her an invaluable asset to our educational setting.
Amelia is an instructor at Mathnasium since August 2024 and a 3rd year student at the University of Waterloo studying pure mathematics. Amelia has extensive knowledge on mathematics and effective communication, as well as experience as a math and physics tutor. Her background naturally prepares her for the task of becoming a Mathnasium instructor. Amelia enjoys learning and expanding her curiosity and knowledge and understands the many challenges involved in learning and teaching mathematics. In Amelia’s spare time she enjoys doing crochet, crafts, and reading.
George is an instructor at Mathnasium for more than a year and is currently pursuing an Honours Mathematics degree at the University of Waterloo. With a strong passion for problem-solving and abstract thinking, George has helped numerous students develop their mathematical skills, providing mentorship in areas ranging from calculus to linear algebra. He has worked as a Mathematics Tutor, offering personalized support to students in both individual and group settings. He is particularly interested in applying his mathematical expertise to fields such as finance and statistics, aiming to contribute to data-driven decision-making and innovation. In his free time, George enjoys exploring new programming concepts, teaching others, and reading about the latest developments in the science and finance worlds.
Komalpreet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Master’s degree in Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Education. She has several years of teaching experience and a strong passion for helping students develop confidence and a genuine love for math. Her goal is to make learning math enjoyable and to help every student understand concepts clearly and apply them with confidence. With her strong academic background and dedication to teaching, she brings both knowledge and enthusiasm to the Mathnasium team.
Tonima joined Mathnasium in 2024 and is currently working as a Research assistant and Teaching assistant at the University of Guelph while doing her Master’s Thesis in Applied Math (Climate Modelling) focusing on permafrost feedback to Arctic climate response. She's modelling the climate changes due to the green house gases emissions and constantly increasing temperature. She has Teaching Assistant experience as well as tutoring experience of elementary and high school students. She loves to assist students in their math learning journey. In her spare time, she loves to watch anime, read comics, learn about history, and new skills.
Andrija has a Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics from University of Waterloo and over 5 years of teaching and tutoring experience. In his free time, he likes to learn different languages and plays piano.
Lakshdeep holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computing along with a Diploma in Web Development. She has a strong passion for helping students understand and enjoy math. She believes that every student can succeed in math with the right guidance and encouragement, and she loves creating a supportive environment where learning feels rewarding. She is excited to share her love for problem-solving and logical thinking with students at Mathnasium. In her free time, Lakshdeep enjoys exploring new recipes, coding small web projects, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
