Ola is passionate about helping children thrive academically and personally by building strong math foundations. As the owner of two Mathnasium centres in Ottawa, she is dedicated to empowering students with confidence and a love of learning.
With 14 years of experience teaching math and music, plus a background in education and HR, Ola brings creativity, structure, and care to every student’s journey. Outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys playing the piano and exploring her love of music.
Yusuf is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering at Carleton University and brings his teaching experience as a swim instructor, lifeguard, and volunteer tutor to Mathnasium.
He believes in making learning fun and engaging by using visual aids and adapting his approach to each student’s needs. Yusuf enjoys connecting with kids and helping them see math as something they can truly enjoy and succeed in.
Shahd holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Marketing and a minor in Finance from the University of Ottawa. Shahd believes math should feel approachable and engaging, and she adapts her teaching style to each student’s learning needs. She enjoys helping students grow their confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve success both in and out of the classroom. When she is not teaching, you will probably find her learning about AI or learning a new skill in embroidery.
Jad is an experienced instructor at Mathnasium of Riverside South, bringing over three years of teaching expertise to the center. Throughout his time with Mathnasium, he has consistently demonstrated dedication and passion for helping students succeed in mathematics. With more than 100 volunteer hours and a First Aid certificate, Jad goes above and beyond to support his community while ensuring a safe and positive learning environment. He takes pride in guiding students to understand the right techniques for problem-solving and enjoys helping them clear obstacles in their learning journey. Outside of teaching, Jad is a committed student himself, working hard toward his dream of becoming a successful businessman.
