Jasman Kocher

Assistant Centre Director

Jasman recently earned her Associate of Science degree from Columbia College and aspires to become a physiotherapist. With a deep love for math from an early age, she pursued higher-level math courses in college and enjoys applying that passion to support young learners. 

At Mathnasium, Jasman loves building strong connections with students and helping them grow more confident in their abilities. She believes math is a gateway to understanding the world and is excited to share that perspective with every child she works with.

Girija Vadakkeveetill

Instructor

Girija brings nearly two decades of classroom experience to Mathnasium, having taught mathematics for 19 years in the Middle East. She holds a Master’s in Computer Applications and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Education, and she brings both expertise and heartfelt enthusiasm to every session. 

Since immigrating to Canada, Girija has continued her teaching journey with Mathnasium, where she’s passionate about guiding students of all ages through their math challenges. Her favorite part of teaching is watching students light up when a tricky concept finally clicks. 

Adrian Naing

Instructor

Adrian is a math enthusiast and licensed commercial pilot with over five years of tutoring experience. He graduated with honors from Sault College’s Aviation Technology – Flight program and even served as a flight instructor. He’s also managed his college’s entire mathematics tutoring department. 

Adrian joined Mathnasium to share his love of math in a caring group environment. He enjoys showing students how math applies to real life—especially in aviation! Fun fact: Adrian often uses Mathnasium-style problem-solving right in the flight deck, sometimes while flying over the centre itself! 

Kieran Jenkins

Instructor

Kieran holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Aviation and has spent over a decade educating students in both fields. He thrives on helping students connect with math in meaningful ways and guiding them toward those “aha!” moments. 

Kieran believes that teaching is one of the most rewarding professions—and that math, when taught with understanding and care, opens doors to critical thinking and lifelong learning. 

Hiloki Zheng

Instructor
Hiloki is currently a fifth-year student at Simon Fraser University, pursuing a Bachelor's in Business Administration. He enjoys working with computers and learning about AI. He understands the pains of learning math and wants to help kids learn that math isn't a topic to be disliked, it is in-fact fun when you understand it.

Sarah K

Instructor
Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Education PDP specializing in Secondary Mathematics from Simon Fraser University. She has training and experience in Multi-sensory Learning and teaching O.G. Academic Math. With over 25 years' experience Tutoring Mathematics, from Kindergarten to First Year-College level; Sarah enjoys being able to participate in the success of learners at all levels and achievement at Mathnasium. She believes Mathnasium's methods and program adaptability makes Math accessible to all; allowing learners of all levels to advance and succeed in Mathematics.

Karan Miglani

Instructor
Karan is currently pursuing Bachelors in Business Administration. He completed his Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications in 2020. Since the completion of his high school in 2018 he has been attracted to two things, business and teaching. Math and Science have been his favorite subjects. He is a friendly personality who loves interacting with kids and loves helping them out with their problems.

Yash Pal Bharti

Instructor
Yash Pal completed his Master’s degree in Computer Sciences in India and recently earned Associate certificate in Agile Development from BCIT. He has more than 8 years experience in teaching computer science theories to adults and worked as a coding Instructor for kids of different age groups. Yash Pal believes Mathnasium practices keep the students interested in Mathematics and loves sharing his math skills with kids.

Divya Kapoor

Instructor
Divya Kapoor is a currently pursuing a Data Science degree at Simon Fraser University. Divya has gained a strong foundation in the field and has honed practical skills through various work and volunteer opportunities. Along with that, Divya has a deep passion for math; and working at Mathnasium is her way of trying to make math more fun for others as well. Whether it's helping with homework, explaining tough concepts, or simply sparking that "aha" moment, Divya is all about making math engaging and exciting at Mathnasium.

Humraj Sooch

Instructor
Humraj holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology concentrating in cells, molecules and physiology. Along with pursuing a career in healthcare, he enjoys inspiring the younger generation to value math and the satisfaction that comes with solving math problems, along with their real world applications.
