Chris graduated from Millersville University and Delaware State University and currently teaches physics and engineering at William Penn High School. His favorite area of math is geometry, and he enjoys helping students see how math concepts apply in real-world scenarios.
Outside of teaching, Chris enjoys hiking, drawing, and spending time with his grandson. His favorite math joke? “Why did the mathematician spill all his food in the oven? Because the directions said to put it in the oven at 180 degrees.”
Raina is currently studying biology and forensic science at the University of Delaware. She’s fascinated by how forensics helps solve mysteries, especially those seen in CSI shows, and she brings that same curiosity to math instruction.
Her favorite topic is algebra, and she enjoys helping students connect with math in ways that feel fun and engaging. In her spare time, Raina plays the trombone and enjoys reading fantasy books. She loves the classic math joke: “Why is 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 ate 9!”
Shannon is a freshman in the Honors College at the University of Delaware and is studying Biology In her free time, she enjoys creative writing, painting, and pretty much anything music or art related. She was the Co-President of her high school's Bob Ross Enthusiasts Club. Shannon's favorite math subject is trigonometry, and she loves the joke "Why does nobody talk to circles? Because it's pointless!".
