Meghan Hunter, a Texas Tech University graduate and former certified Texas teacher, has always had a deep love for mathematics and education. After earning her teaching certification from the University of North Texas, she quickly discovered that many students’ struggles with math came from confusion, not dislike.
When her son attended Mathnasium of Southlake, Meghan saw firsthand how the program could transform confidence. Inspired by founder Larry Martinek’s words that “kids don’t hate math—they hate being confused,” she opened Mathnasium of Boerne to bring that same clarity and joy to her community.
James Johnson has been part of Mathnasium of Boerne since 2012 and brings over a decade of teaching experience to the team. A Boerne native and graduate of Schreiner University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a minor in Education, he is passionate about showing students that math is more than memorizing steps, but about understanding how ideas connect.
James loves sparking “lightbulb” moments. His favorite number is 42 because “it’s the answer to everything.” He also laughs that he still doesn’t know why teachers keep asking him to find their x!
Originally from San Diego, California, Noah Endermann graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in Chemistry before joining Mathnasium of Boerne in 2018. He believes that teaching math is really about teaching students how to think—a skill that applies far beyond the classroom.
Noah enjoys building strong connections with students and watching them gain confidence through understanding. His favorite number is e, “because it’s awesome,” and he loves clever jokes, especially the one about Descartes and his horse.
Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

Are you interested in changing lives through math? We're looking for outstanding individuals with a high level of commitment who are passionate about teaching math. Find out if there's a Mathnasium position that's just right for you!
