Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Priscilla W.

Associate Center Director

Priscilla brings over five years of Mathnasium experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education to her role as Associate Center Director. She began her journey as an instructor and has since held several positions within the center, developing a deep understanding of student learning.

As a parent of three, Priscilla connects easily with families and understands each child’s unique needs. She loves watching students grow in confidence and skill, often reminding them that “no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” Her favorite number is 1693, representing her daughters’ ages.

Lauren

Director of Training

Lauren earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Central Florida, with concentrations in Mathematics Education and Psychology. During her degree she studied advanced math coursework in Calculus, Differential Equations, and Statistics.

Since joining Mathnasium in 2011, Lauren has helped countless students gain confidence and appreciation for math. She believes math should challenge and inspire rather than intimidate, and she takes pride in mentoring instructors and empowering students to find joy in problem-solving.

Jodi

Director of Education

Jodi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Math from Hope College, a Master’s in Math Education, and a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College. She also earned her secondary teaching certificate and is a certified gifted instructor.

With 20 years of classroom experience, Jodi has taught everything from 8th grade math to IB Math Studies. She loves seeing students experience that spark of understanding when a difficult concept clicks and believes that, with the right support, every child can thrive in math.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
