  Yes, Mathnasium of Crystal Lake offers both in-center and online tutoring. Students receive face-to-face instruction in a supportive small-group environment, guided by the same caring tutors whether they attend online or in person.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, the experience and results are consistent across both formats. Students who attend online receive the same personalized learning plans and face-to-face instruction as they would in the center.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center tutoring?

  No, membership pricing is the same whether students attend online, in person, or a combination of both.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  The enrollment process begins with a diagnostic assessment that helps us understand each student’s current skills, learning gaps, and academic goals, so we can create a personalized learning plan that fits their unique needs.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  We use the Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional techniques to build solid foundations for math mastery.
