Hello, I'm Veronica Kunzle, Center Director of Mathnasium of Ellicott City, your neighborhood math-only learning center. We provide proven, effective, and FUN (yes, kids love learning math here) math tutoring to students in elementary, middle school, and high school. Serving Ellicott City, Catonsville, Columbia areas.
Andy is working on his Master's degree in Math Education at Loyola. He studied math at the University of Vermont and he is a big Orioles fan! His favorite number is three, because it's his lucky number.
Riya currently attends Glenelg High School. Her favorite number is 2 because it's the only even prime number. Riya's favorite math joke is, "I'm 2^2 to lose you." A fun fact about Riya is that she has been to 12 different countries.
Gustavo is a first-year grad student at Johns Hopkins pursuing an MS in applied physics. When not tutoring or studying, he enjoys playing sports, especially basketball and golf. His nickname is "Goose," after the Ravens defensive tackle Tony Siragusa. His favorite number is 2 because it's the only even prime number!
Anushka plans to study chemical engineering with a minor in data science. Outside of school, she enjoys training in Tae Kwon Do and playing chess. Her favorite number is 64 because it is a perfect square. She has five small dogs, and enjoys trail hiking!
Max just finished a master's degree in computer science, where he did research on new methods for machine learning. He enjoys following college sports (Go UVA!) and hanging out with his Tibetan Terrier, Bernie. His favorite number is 2, for its importance in computer science - and because of how many problems can be solved by cutting them in half!
Dhriti is a big fan of the Baltimore Ravens and she loves to play golf! She hopes to study economics and finance in college. Her favorite number is 13!
Saajid is currently studying biological sciences on a premed track at UMBC. He loves to play basketball and his favorite team is the Toronto Raptors. His favorite number is 3 because it feels balanced and complete!
Josephine has a strong interest in Psychology and Public Health, and outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys journaling and hanging out with her dog. Her favorite number is 12!
Alexandra plans to study Psychology at the University of Florida. She runs Track and Field, and her favorite events are the 800 and the mile. She has a giant Maine coon cat named Montoya, and she loves music, especially covering songs by her favorite artists, including Steve Lacy, Rihanna, and Fleetwood Mac. Her favorite number is 11 because it's the only two digit prime number where both digits are the same!
Sreeya plans on studying finance and mathematics in college, and her hobbies include origami and badminton. Her favorite number is 12!
Anveeksha plans to go into premed in college. She enjoys baking and volunteering at hospitals, and she likes to play the piano! She also likes to play badminton.
Sejal is a senior at Clarksburg High School and plans to study Electrical Engineering at the University of Maryland. Outside of work, she likes to bake, read, stay active, and hang out with friends. Her favorite number is seven!
Adam is an aspiring law student currently studying for the LSAT. He is a ride or die Washington Commanders fan and once held the Lombardi trophy! His favorite number is 786, because in the Arabic Abjad numerical system, it translates to his favorite sentence.
Robert graduated from UMBC with a degree in mathematics and a minor in chemistry. He enjoys connecting complex math to real-life experiences and encourages students to find joy in the subject.
His favorite number is "n" because it symbolizes endless potential. Outside the center, Robert coaches and competes in fencing.
