Haiyan Zhao

Hello, I am Haiyan Zhao, center director and owner of Mathnasium of Haslet. I am excited to bring Mathnasium to the Haslet community and partner with families, schools and teachers to help students build a deep understanding of math.

I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Statistics, and I have spent many years applying mathematical and analytical thinking in my professional career. As a parent of two school age kids, I understand the importance of helping students develop both strong math skills and self-confidence.

My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and motived to learn math. I love helping students build strong math foundations, develop critical-thinking skills, and gain the confidence they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom. I believe every child can learn and enjoy math when they are taught in a way that makes sense to them.
