Kazh holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Merced. With over a decade of tutoring experience across the Pacific Northwest, he brings a strong academic background and a deep commitment to student success.
Kazh is passionate about helping students become the next generation of academics, scientists, and engineers. His thoughtful, engaging approach to teaching math helps students build confidence and discover the power of problem-solving.
Monica earned her Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Mathematics from the University of Washington. She enjoys the challenge of helping students overcome math obstacles and believes their success is her success.
With a warm and encouraging style, Monica connects with students and celebrates their progress. Outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys spending time with her wiener dog, exploring interior design, making jewelry, and playing video games.
Vyn is currently pursuing an engineering degree and has always loved math for its practical applications in everyday life. From programming computers to measuring ingredients in the kitchen, he sees math as an essential skill that’s everywhere.
At Mathnasium, Vyn enjoys helping students who may not feel confident in math find their footing and spark new interest in the subject. He creates an environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and proud of their progress.
Sohail holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and has years of tutoring experience with peers and younger students. He enjoys the satisfaction of seeing students master math skills they once found difficult.
He believes that with patience, practice, and the right guidance, anyone can understand math. Sohail enjoys hiking, playing soccer, and basketball, and brings that same energy and focus to helping students achieve their goals.
Sophia is a dual-enrollment student at Kentridge High School and Green River College, where she is majoring in Computer Science. She brings a love for coding and a passion for problem-solving to her work at Mathnasium.
Outside of her studies, Sophia enjoys baking, thrifting, and playing a variety of instruments including the electric guitar, cello, and piano. She aims to make learning math both fun and meaningful for every student she teaches.
