TJ has been with Mathnasium since 2017 and loves working with students to create individualized learning plans that meet each child’s needs. His goal is to ensure every student leaves the center with more knowledge than they had when they arrived.
By incorporating math-inspired games, direct instruction, and intentional conversations, TJ helps students develop a love for math. He believes that with the right guidance, every child can enjoy learning and grow confident in their skills.
With over two decades in education, Lynn is passionate about building students’ confidence through learning. A former Seminole County Public Schools teacher and 2013 Teacher of the Year, she opened Mathnasium of Lake Mary in 2013 to help children thrive in math.
Her center has earned national recognition, including “#1 Mathnasium in the Nation for Right Instruction.” In 2020, Lynn opened Mathnasium of Lake Brantley, continuing her mission to make math make sense and inspire students in her community.
Emily keeps the center running smoothly by signing in students, answering calls, greeting families, and keeping the rewards cabinet stocked. She ensures both in-center and @home students have a seamless experience from start to finish.
Her friendly, organized approach helps create a welcoming environment for students. Fun fact: her favorite Sanrio character is Hangyodon!
Jean-Raphael majored in Math and Aerospace Engineering at Penn State University, where he led study sessions and assisted with classes. As Lead @Home Instructor, he mentors instructors and ensures the Mathnasium Method™ is applied effectively.
Known for his patient, calming demeanor, he works closely with students and parents to support learning. He’s fluent in French and is currently learning Italian.
Lauren graduated from Stetson University with a B.S. degree in Bio-Chemistry. She has always excelled in math and science. As Lead Instructor, Lauren helps with daily operations along with being a mentor to Instructors while ensuring the Mathnasium Method is being implemented. Her attention to detail and positive attitude is very motivating to her students and keeps everyone on task. Lauren is always excited to talk about theme parks and dinosaurs.
Michael has always had a passion for math and helping young people. He has worked with Odyssey of the Mind and continues to volunteer in local classrooms in his free time. Michael enjoys helping the Lyman High School math department. As an Instructor Michael dedicates his time to working with each student on their individual level. Fun Fact! Michael has previously lived in California!
Meet Linda!
Linda is the Director of Marketing and Center Operations for Mathnasium of Lake Mary and Mathnasium of Lake Brantley. With more than 20 years of experience in education, she has dedicated her career to helping students, families, and communities succeed.
Before joining Mathnasium, Linda served in leadership roles throughout higher education, including Campus President, Senior Director of Admissions, and Dean. Today, she combines her passion for education with community outreach, building partnerships with local schools, PTAs, and organizations to help more students discover confidence in math.
What Linda loves most about Mathnasium is seeing students realize they're capable of far more than they believed. Whether she's organizing Family Math Nights, visiting schools, or welcoming new families, her goal is to make math feel approachable, engaging, and even fun.
Linda believes every child can be successful in math with the right support, encouragement, and personalized learning plan. She loves watching students celebrate milestones—whether it's mastering multiplication facts, tackling algebra with confidence, or simply walking into the center with a smile.
Outside of Mathnasium, Linda enjoys creating handmade jewelry, painting, spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Honey and Cooper, and finding new ways to bring creativity into everything she does.
Her favorite part of her job? Watching children have fun during math. Then we build on confidence and the sky's the limit!
