  • Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center tutoring?

    There is no difference! Membership pricing is the same for all students, whether they choose to attend sessions online, in person, or use a hybrid approach.

  • Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

    At Mathnasium of North Bethesda, students begin the enrollment process with a diagnostic assessment designed to help us identify their learning style, needs, and goals.   

    Using assessment-based insights, we create a learning plan that will help them truly understand and even start to enjoy math, making meaningful progress at their own pace. 

  • How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

    At Mathnasium of North Bethesda, we do not follow a traditional curriculum. We use our proprietary approach called the Mathnasium Method™, which combines personalized learning plans with proven teaching techniques to develop solid foundations for math mastery.  

    Our approach builds on each student’s existing knowledge, addressing the gaps in their understanding and introducing new concepts gradually and in a logical sequence. We work with students to expand their mathematical thinking so they can build the skills and confidence to excel in the classroom and beyond.
