Geoff

Co-owner

Geoff is the Co-owner of Mathnasium of North Marietta. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Natal in Durban, South Africa. He also became a Chartered Accountant and passed the CPA exam after moving to the U.S. Geoff has always enjoyed math and believes it plays a vital role in everyday life. 

He has volunteered extensively with his children’s school PTA and values the importance of education. Geoff brings his strong financial background and community spirit to his work at Mathnasium. 

Sloan Kearns

Assistant Center Director

Sloan is a senior Biochemistry major at Kennesaw GA University and a member of the Journey Honors College. She serves as the secretary of the K-Pop Dance Team and has a strong passion for science and education. Sloan was once a Mathnasium student herself in Savannah, Georgia, and now enjoys giving back as a Assistant Center Director. 

She joined Mathnasium of North Marietta in September 2022. Sloan loves helping students build their confidence in math and enjoys using humor to make learning fun. Her favorite math joke: “There are three kinds of people in the world—those who can count and those who can’t.” 

Charlotte Talley

Lead Instructor

Charlotte is a sophmore Secondary Education major at KSU wuth a concentration in math. She is a lead instructor and has been working for Mathnasium since August 2022 but she only recently moved to this location. In her free time she likes to work on her photography, make a new sewing project, or play with her puppy.

Kieran MacDonald

Instructor

Kieran has graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors of Science in Physics and is currently studying for a Masters degree in Electrical Computer Engineering. In his free time, Kieran likes to rock climb and read. Durring his time at KSU, Kieran has taken upper level math courses such as Partial Differential Equations, Complex Analysis, and Calculus 3. Kieran started at Mathnasium of North Marietta in July 2024 and is also currently working as a graduate research assistant. 

Favorite Math Joke: What is a complex analyists favorite part of a meal? The residue!

Jessica Wolwark

Instructor

Jessica is a senior at Kennsaw State University and a Public Health Major. She is on the KSU Women's Rugby Team and loves spending time outdoors. In her free time, she likes to kayak, hike, and go camping! Jessica has been a math tutor since 2020 and has been working at Mathnasium of North Marietta since May of 2024.

Favorite math joke: Why is 69 so scared of 70? Because they fought and 71!

Ash Nichols

Instructor

Ash is a sophomore at Kennesaw State University and an Elementary Education Major. In his free time, Ash likes to sing, hang out with friends, and do escape rooms with his family. Ash was a previous Mathnasium student for five years in Augusta, Georgia and has been working at Mathnasium of North Marietta since Janurary 2025. 

Favorite Math Joke: Are you an angle with a measure of less than 90 degrees? Because you're acute. 

Ava McIntire

Instructor

Ava is finishing her senior year at KSU for a degree in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in math and language arts. She joined the Mathnasium team in June of 2025, but has tutored math since 2023. In her free time, Ava enjoys reading, going to concerts, and watching movies with her friends.

Favorite math joke: What do you call two friends who love math? Algebros.

William Kesler

Instructor

William is a student at Kennesaw State University majoring in Industrial & Systems Engineering and is majoring in Data Science and Analytics. Throughout his academic career, William has completed higher level math courses including Calculus 3, Linear Algebra, and Deterministic Decision Making Models. William enjoys working on cars, and spends time researching the automotive industry, where he plans to take his skills.

Gison Xu

Instructor

Gison is a junior at Wheeler High School and is currently taking linear algebra. He started working at the Mathnasium of North Marietta in August 2024. Gison is on the math team at Wheeler, in the Spanish Honors Society and Beta Club. In his free time, Gison likes to play games online and solve puzzles.

Siena Flynn

Instructor

Siena is currently a senior at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School and has taken AP Statistics, and is currently taking AP Calculus AB. She has been working at North Marietta Mathnasium since June 2025. Siena is involved with her school's sports medicine program, peer tutoring program, and a member of the National Honor Society. In her free time, Siena enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with friends and family.

Favorite Math Joke: "What is a mathematician's favorite food? Pi!"

Nicolas Marino

Instructor

Nicolas Marino is a senior at Wheeleer High School. He has completed both AP Calculcus AB and BC, and is currently taking Differential Equations. He also participates in community service projects through his school's Helping Hands program. In his free time, he loves listening to music as well as outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, and biking. He has been with Mathnasium since August 2024

Favorite Math Joke: "Why do mathematicians like parks? Because of all the natural logs."

Jaiden Huynh

Instructor

Jaiden is a senior at Wheeler High School and is currently taking AP statistics. Throughout his math career, he has taken Calculus AB and BC. Jaiden participates in his school Association Board, Science Olympiad team, and loves to volunteer for communities. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and basketball with his friends or for the school. If you ever want to talk about tennis or basketball, he's there!

Favorite Math Joke: What can be right, but never wrong? An Angle!

Vamsi Tadi

Instructor

Vamsi is a senior at Wheeler High School and is currently taking Applied Combinatorics and AP Statistics. In the past, Vamsi has done upper level math classes such as AP Calculus BC, Linear Algebra, and Multivariable Calculus. At school, he is part of the CircutRunners Robotics Team and also participates in Math Team. In his free time, Vamsi loves to swim, camp, and work on jigsaw puzzles. 

Favorite Math Joke: I asked my dog what’s two minus two. He said nothing.
