Tammy brings a unique blend of empathy and leadership to Mathnasium, shaped by her background as a social worker with the University of Utah Mental Health Crisis Team. A firm believer in the power of math to build confidence, Tammy is passionate about helping children find success through strong foundational skills. Her favorite number is 2—because it’s the first prime number!
When she's not guiding students, you’ll find her hiking, crocheting, or sharing her favorite math joke: “Why is 6 mad at 7? Because 7, 8, 9.” Tammy loves that Mathnasium makes math simple and fun.
Bio: Samantha has a bachelor’s degree in Math Education and a lifelong love of teaching. She thrives on helping others understand difficult math concepts and is excited to be part of a team that makes math engaging for students.

Favorite math joke: A farmer counted 297 cows, but when he rounded them up, he had 300.
In five years, I will be: She hopes to be passing along her passion for math to her two children.

Bio: Jayden is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and brings creativity and calm to every session. Outside of Mathnasium, he enjoys crocheting, 3D printing, and making custom dice.

In five years, I will be: Jayden hopes to be a full-time game developer.

Bio: Katie is 16 years old and plays clarinet and enjoys listening to music. She occupies her time with family and participating in marching band. She loves kids and teaching them.

Bio: Victoria is a sophomore in high school, who loves chocolate and learning new things.

Bio: Samantha loves to read, play the violin and to run. Her favorite book is Legendborn and her favorite movie is Spiderman into the Spiderverse. She loves working with kids and helping them learn!

Bio: Aubrey is a student at Cedar Valley High School and is a part of student council. She enjoys reading, ballroom and building things.

Bio: Daniel is almost 17 years old and wants to go on a mission and then become a mechanical engineer. He also loves Star Wars!

In 5 years, I will be: Pursuing a degree in biology and working toward a career in biomedical sciences, with a focus on understanding medication and discovering new cures.
