The diagnostic assessment serves to identify each student’s current skill level, knowledge gaps, and learning goals, so we can design a plan tailored to their specific needs.

  • How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

Mathnasium of West Houston we do not follow a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Instead, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional techniques to help students truly understand and even enjoy math.

Using this approach, our specially trained math tutors meet students where they are in math and introduce new concepts step-by-step, in a logical sequence.

As students begin to close their knowledge gaps and strengthen their foundational skills, math begins to click. They learn new tactics and gradually transform how they think and feel about the subject.

  • Do you work with advanced students or with students who are struggling with math?

Both! We support students of all skill levels, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up, or are ready to get ahead on their math journey.
