Hi, I'm from Seattle and graduated WWU in 2018 with an education degree. I'm a licensed teacher who has a passion for math and science. I used to work at OMSI and PacSci helping visitors learn more about the world around them. During my free time I love gardening and hiking. I'm excited to work with Mathnasium!
Emiry is a graduate of the University of Washington, where she studied Psychology and English. She has a strong appreciation for math and enjoys helping students discover the joy of learning through problem-solving.
Outside of Mathnasium, she spends her time reading fantasy novels, playing the guitar, volunteering at her church, and spending time with her family. Emiry believes that math can be fun and rewarding when taught with patience and creativity. She’s excited to support students as they grow more confident and curious in their math skills.
Matthew holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and brings a love for teaching and problem-solving to his role at Mathnasium. With years of experience teaching chess, math, and other subjects, he enjoys helping students see how fun and rewarding math can be.
A passionate music enthusiast and puzzle lover, Matthew believes that learning should be an enjoyable and meaningful experience. He’s excited to be part of the Mathnasium team and looks forward to helping students develop a deeper understanding of math concepts.
Natalie is a recent graduate from the University of Washington, with a degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Quantitative Science. Through her college classes she learned just how impactful a good math teacher could be, and developed a love for mathematics that she hopes to encourage in others.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking in nature, and spending time with her friends. She’s excited to work with the students of Mathnasium, and help them build confidence in their mathematic abilities.
Shruti is a high school student who loves math and teaching. She is also an art teacher, where she enjoys helping others learn and grow. In her free time, she loves reading, listening to music, and spending time with her friends. She loves working with the students at Mathnasium, and hopes to continue helping students!
Thien is a dedicated and accomplished instructor at Mathnasium with a strong academic background in mathematics and communication. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the University of Washington and has completed advanced coursework including Real Analysis, Abstract Algebra, Complex Analysis, Probability, Linear Optimization, and Cryptography. Thien also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English.
His passion for mathematics, combined with his patient and encouraging teaching style, helps students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of math.
Jayden is a passionate and motivated instructor at Mathnasium who brings enthusiasm and positivity to every session. As a senior in high school, he understands the challenges students face in today’s math classrooms and enjoys helping them build confidence through personalized support and encouragement.
Jayden has a strong foundation in math and excels at connecting with younger students, making learning fun, approachable, and engaging.
