Joe is the Centre Director at Mathnasium of Waterloo. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from McMaster University and previously worked designing barns and rural structures. Before opening his own centre, Joe taught and tutored students of all ages and also worked as an instructor at another Mathnasium in Ontario.
He discovered how effective the Mathnasium Method™ is and became inspired to bring it to his community. Joe is passionate about helping students truly understand math by teaching in a way that makes sense to them.
Kirin serves as the Assistant Centre Director at Mathnasium of Waterloo. She holds a double degree in Mathematics and Geography from Wilfrid Laurier University and is currently pursuing her MSc degree. She has experience in private tutoring and managing summer camps.
Kirin has been with Mathnasium since 2019 and is passionate about building student confidence. She creates a positive, encouraging learning environment where students can engage with math and feel empowered to succeed.
Arshia is a graduate of Conestoga College with a strong passion for math and technology. He enjoys helping students see math as a powerful tool and a creative outlet for solving real-world problems.
At Mathnasium, Arshia encourages students to develop curiosity and confidence in math. Outside the classroom, he enjoys programming, working out, and spending time with family.
Sarah is the Online Classroom Manager at Mathnasium of Waterloo. She holds a teaching degree from Nipissing University and is an Ontario Certified Teacher. She studied Social Studies and Psychology at Redeemer University after attending Calvin University.
Sarah brings her love of learning and strong communication skills to her role. She enjoys helping students thrive in a virtual setting and brings warmth and enthusiasm to every session.
Huma is studying Financial Mathematics at Wilfrid Laurier University and also works as an instructional assistant at the university. She was once a Mathnasium student herself and credits the programme with helping her develop a deep love for math.
Now an instructor, Huma is passionate about supporting students as they grow in skill and confidence. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, rock climbing, and reading.
