Sharada Vajjhala

Lead Instructor

Sharada brings a unique combination of software programming experience and academic teaching to Mathnasium. Originally from India, she previously worked as a math teacher and has always been passionate about helping students succeed. She uses a variety of techniques to make math concepts clear and relatable, believing that practice and persistence are key to mastering math. Sharada is dedicated to creating a positive and effective learning environment.  


In her free time, she enjoys working on puzzles and volunteering in her community.

Hello! I'm Julianne, and I recently graduated from Bellevue College, majoring in Computer Science, and I love working with students who need extra help in math. I enjoy solving problems alongside my students and showing them that math can be both fun and exciting. My goal is to help every student feel confident and proud of their progress.

Elizabeth

Hi, I’m Elizabeth! I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering at the University of Washington. I love math and problem solving, and I’m passionate about making learning a fun and rewarding experience for students. I’m excited to help students build confidence and grow their math skills at Mathnasium. In my free time, I enjoy reading and baking.

Hi, I'm Alan, a second-year at the University of Washington - Seattle studying International Studies with a focus on East Asia. I love the small tricks and details in math that can help vastly simplify even the most complex problems. Outside of Mathnasium, I play table tennis and Quizbowl, and I love classical music and indie J-rock. I look forward to working with you!

Hi, I'm Samreedhi, but you can call me Sam! I am currently a freshman at the University of Washington, intending to major in either engineering or informatics. In my free time, I love to watch movies and play card games. I'm excited to be here at Mathnasium!

Hello! I'm Aleksy, I'm a first year student at UW-Seattle studying engineering (and hoping to go into aerospace!). Math and teaching have always been passions of mine, and I am excited to share my skills and enthusiasm at Mathnasium. Outside of academics, I am training for DI track recruitment to the UW, but I also enjoy training calisthenics and martial arts. In the free time that remains, I like building model rockets, reading and writing poetry!

Hi, my name is Sein! I joined the Mathnasium community to share my love for learning math. I value curiosity and creativity when approaching math problems and enjoy making connections to other concepts and the real world. I’m passionate about creating an environment where all students can gain confidence by truly understanding math, no matter where they started from. In my free time, I enjoy photography, playing the violin, writing, and spending time outside. I’m excited to support students in math and beyond at Mathnasium!
