Kevin brings over a decade of educational experience to Mathnasium of Perry Hall, with a strong background in leading and managing student-focused programs. He is passionate about helping students unlock their potential in math and works closely with families and educators to ensure every child thrives.
Kevin is dedicated to making Mathnasium a welcoming and effective learning environment where students build skills, confidence, and a lasting appreciation for math. We're excited to have him leading our Perry Hall team!
James oversees Center Operations across our organization and is one of our most experienced instructors. With a background in pre-med and engineering, he’s long been fascinated by how math explains both everyday tools and complex natural forces.
James is passionate about helping students develop math confidence and believes math will play a key role in solving future challenges in medicine and technology. He finds joy in seeing students grow, and says working at Mathnasium has been one of the most rewarding parts of his career.
Barry and Kathryn Fausnaugh have owned and operated successful Mathnasium centers since 2012. Barry holds a B.S. in Information Systems Management from UMUC, and Kathryn holds a B.S. in Accounting from Virginia Tech and was a licensed CPA (inactive). Prior to Mathnasium, both enjoyed successful careers in IT and consulting.
As parents, they understand the challenges families face with math and are committed to helping students build strong foundational skills early. They believe every child can learn to enjoy and appreciate math—and that those skills open doors in every future career path.
