Verdi

Associate Center Director

Verdi is from Taiwan and came to the United States for college. He graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development. During college, he started to tutor students in Mandarin and math. Watching students grow is his greatest achievement, especially seeing students willing to speak a few sentences in Mandarin. Growing up in the eastern culture and receiving higher education in the western country, he experienced two very different educational styles, especially with math. He wishes to not only build students' confidence, but also help them enjoy math, as he believes math skills are very important life skills. Verdi loves to eat, so during his free time, he searches on Yelp and tries to find restaurants in the area where he can try new foods.

Brandon

Associate Center Director

Hi everyone! My name is Brandon Chun. To tell you a bit about myself, I graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration: Marketing. Don’t let this fool you, though; I love math! Growing up, I had a deep fascination with all things computers, physics, and engineering. It was through these subjects that it quickly translated to the love I have for math today. Besides math, I also love the game of baseball. I grew up playing the sport starting at around 8 years old, and stopped after my first two years of college at Pennsylvania State University - Berks. To this day, I still coach baseball to all ages! With all of this said, my ultimate goal is to help people find their confidence within themselves, and in hopes, they strive to be the best versions of themselves they can be. Hope to see you in the center soon!
