• Does Mathnasium of Rolling Hills Estates offer online tutoring?

  Yes, our students can attend Mathnasium at our Rolling Hills Estates center or log into live, face-to-face sessions with their tutor. 

• Is there a difference between Mathnasium of Rolling Hills Estates' online and in-person tutoring?

  No, there is no difference between in-person and online tutoring at Mathnasium of Rolling Hills Estates. 

  Students who opt for online math tutoring will receive the same quality of live, face-to-face instruction and work with the same tutors as they would in our Rolling Hills Estates center. 

• What math classes can your Rolling Hills Estates tutors help with?

  Mathnasium’s specially trained tutors can help students learn and master any K-12 math class or topic, from basic arithmetic through Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, and advanced high school math.

  Mathnasium of Rolling Hills Estates provides premium value math tutoring by combining superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low.
  
  Much like a gym membership, there is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly.
  
  Most students attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring at Mathnasium of Rolling Hills Estates?

  No, Mathnasium of Rolling Hills Estates' membership fees are the same for online, in-center, and hybrid tutoring.

  At Mathnasium of Rolling Hills Estates, students begin the enrollment process with a diagnostic assessment designed to help us identify their learning style, needs, and goals.    

  Using assessment-based insights, we create a learning plan that will help them truly understand and even start to enjoy math, making meaningful progress at their own pace.

  Unlike a math class, Mathnasium teaches to the individual. Our expert instructors provide face-to-face instruction at the right pace for each student. We use the Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach which combines personalized learning plans with proven techniques to build math knowledge upon what students already know, expand their mathematical thinking, and help them gain confidence along the way. The approach uses teaching techniques such as building Number Sense and Socratic Questioning to enhance the students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  Both. We work with advanced students to expand their math skills and help them achieve their greatest potential. At Mathnasium, advanced students can explore the topics beyond their school’s math curriculum and receive personalized support to achieve their unique academic goals.
