  Mathnasium of Spring North is located in the Louetta Oaks Shopping Center on Louetta Road, just off I-45. You’ll find us snugly situated between Potbelly and Tiff’s Treats—a convenient and unmistakable landmark for easy drop-off and pick-up.

• Do you offer online tutoring?

  Yes, Mathnasium of Spring North provides both in-center and online tutoring. Students receive personalized, face-to-face instruction in a supportive group environment from the same specially trained tutors, whether they attend sessions online or in person.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, students who choose to attend Mathnasium of Spring North online receive personalized learning plans and the same caring support as they would in our center. The quality of instruction and level of engagement remain consistent across both formats.

• What math classes can your tutors help with?

  We provide personalized support to help students learn and master any K–12 math class or topic, from early arithmetic to Algebra, Geometry, and beyond.  

  Our specially trained math tutors in Spring North help students build confidence, (re)build foundational skills, and improve their performance in math.

• What does mathematics tutoring cost at Mathnasium of Spring North?

  We offer math-only tutoring through a flat monthly membership. Most students attend 2–3 sessions per week for optimal results. During your free assessment, we’ll help determine the ideal learning plan for your student.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring at Mathnasium of Spring North?

  No, membership fees are the same whether students attend sessions online, in person, or through a hybrid format.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment at Mathnasium of Spring North?

  Each student begins with a diagnostic assessment that helps us understand their current skill level, identify learning gaps, and clarify their academic goals. These insights allow us to create a personalized learning plan designed to address their needs.

• Is the diagnostic assessment free at Mathnasium of Spring North?

  Yes, the diagnostic assessment at Mathnasium of Spring North is free so families can get a sense of the Mathnasium experience and gain valuable insights into their child’s current math skills, learning gaps, and areas for growth.  

  This assessment also allows us to design a personalized learning plan tailored to your child’s needs. 

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Spring North, we use the Mathnasium Method™, which combines personalized learning plans with proven teaching techniques. 

  Building on what the student already knows, we introduce new concepts gradually, breaking them down into simple steps to help them fill in their knowledge gaps, build solid foundational skills, and develop confidence in math. 

• Do you coordinate with local schools in the Spring and Klein ISD areas?

  Yes! Mathnasium of Spring North regularly works with students from Spring ISD, Klein ISD, Cy-Fair ISD, Conroe ISD, Tomball ISD, New Caney ISD, and local homeschool communities.  

  While we are not formally affiliated with these districts, our team aligns instruction with classroom goals and provides support that complements what students are learning in school. 

• Do you work with advanced students or with students who are struggling with math?

  Certainly! We work with students of all skill levels, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up, or get ahead on their math journey. 

  Students who are struggling with math benefit from personalized instruction and confidence-building support. Advanced learners enjoy enrichment programs that deepen their understanding, challenge their thinking, and introduce them to new mathematical concepts. 

• Do you work with homeschooled students in Spring North?

  Yes, we support students from all educational backgrounds, including homeschool, public, and private school families throughout Spring, North Houston, Klein, and surrounding communities.

• Do you help students with their math homework?

  Yes, our tutors set aside time during each session to help students with their math homework and ensure they understand the material they are covering in school.

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No, all learning takes place during sessions with our specially trained tutors. We do not assign additional homework, allowing students to stay focused and make real progress while they’re with us.

• Do you prepare students for standardized tests?

  Yes, we help students prepare for standardized and school-based math tests, including state assessments, ACT®, and SAT®. Our test prep includes personalized learning plans, targeted practice, and proven strategies to build both skill and confidence.

• Do you offer support for STAAR testing?

  Yes, we provide targeted support for the STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness).  

  Our tutors can help students review grade-level concepts, improve problem-solving skills, and build the confidence they need to approach STAAR exams successfully. We incorporate STAAR-aligned practice into personalized learning plans to ensure effective preparation.
