Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Winchmore Hill

Toye

Toye is currently a master's student at the University of Cambridge studying Educational Mathematics. She graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with an engineering degree during which she volunteered to teach at her alma mata during her breaks. This further developed her interest in education and mathematics and she decided to continue in that part as a tutor. She enjoys listening to music and watching K-dramas and is skilled at hair making. She is very excited to help all children in their progress.

Tamanna

Tamanna is currently studying a Mechanical Engineering degree at City of London university. Acheiving A’s at GCSE Maths, Further Maths and an A-level Maths, she is adamant to help students excel and gain confidence in their mathematical abilities. During her education she has previous experiences in tutoring, and working with young children, which have allowed her to gain a key understanding in making them feel comfortable in a teaching environment. Additional to her love of engineering, Tamanna loves exploring different philosophical, ethical and theological concepts, in which she incorporates in a blog form.

Sienna

Sienna is currently studying Economics, Politics and Italian A Level at St Michaels Catholic Grammar School. She would like to go on to study Politics and International Relations at university next year. Throughout her education she has experienced tutoring herself from a young age, from this experience she has learnt many tutoring methods that she has been able to use at Mathnasium. In addition to tutoring, Sienna enjoys watching sports such as football and motorsports and enjoys sharing this passion with her friends.

Alicia

Alicia is an A-level student, currently in her second year studying History, Religion, Ethics & Philosophy, and Spanish. Despite finding Maths challenging in the early years of her Secondary Education, determination and perseverance led her to success as she achieved a level 9 (A**) in GCSE Maths. This experience has only furthered her aspiration to make Maths a fun activity for all children; helping them feel supported and instilling confidence to put them on the path towards academic success. Outside of her studies, Alicia is a Violinist, enjoys Dance and advocating on behalf of her peers as Head Girl of Ashmole Academy.

Costas

Costas is currently studying mathematics at Kings College London. He has achieved A* in mathematics, further mathematics and physics A Levels and has achieved an A in chemistry A Level. Costas enjoys to play piano and football and always loves to do a barbeque on the weekends.

Robbie

Robbie is currently in his final school year studying Politics, Economics and Mathematics at A-Level, with his current aim being to study the Political Economy at university. Robbie tutors maths to students with the most effective educational methods, to maximise understanding and reasoning. His main goal is to help students excel at the school curriculum and beyond, and ensure students are educated in a positive and non-judgemental teaching environment.

Dotun

Dotun is currently studying Maths, Economics and Sociology at A-level. He has a love for Maths and really enjoys teaching. In GCSE he received a level 8 in maths and is predicted to achieve an A* at A-level. He is optimistic that this, in combination with previous experience as a learning instructor, will enable him to provide a high quality teaching experience for students of any level. Outside of his studies he is an avid music listener who loves to socialise with his friends & family and from time to time likes to game.

Divye

Anna
