Mathnasium Began With the Realisation That There's a Better Way To Teach Maths

My daughter’s confidence in Maths has increased considerably since joining Mathnasium. All of the tutors are helpful, and it’s a fun and engaging way of learning. We’re really pleased with her progress!

Our son goes there many times a week, on his own, because he really enjoys the activities and can strengthen his maths skills and knowledge. A fantastic team — learning Maths has never been so rigorous and so fun!

My child has attended mathnasium for over year and we’re really impressed with how our their confidence has grown. Lessons focus on strong numerical fluency and foundations, which has really helped when starting to approach more stretchy topics. Tutors do a great job of supporting each child and creating a fun and focused learning environment. We also found the star card incentive scheme really helps maintain enthusiasm and frequency of visits.

My son used to hate maths and even though he was above average in the subject he never wanted to do it. Mathnasium helped him to appreciate the subject and also helped him to consistently perform well in his exams. He started looking forward to going to the lessons. The staff were very friendly and nice to him. Regular feedback on emails and calls helped me to track his progress. The result is that my son does not hate the subject and has also taken it in A Levels. I really think Mathnasium made a huge difference in helping him change his mind. I really thankful to the staff and teachers at Mathnasium for making this happen.

My daughter has had the most positive experience with Mathnasium in Crouch End. She said she enjoyed the "focused, structured environment" and her tutors have been "very supportive and friendly". I second this, as her tutor regularly called me with updates and just to check in. My daughter's confidence in her ability improved significantly to the extent that she decided to opt for Further Maths as a GCSE option, and her school teacher fully supported this decision. My daughter enjoyed attending in-person sessions, describing them as "relaxed" and "low-pressure," where mistakes are part of the learning process and lessons are tailored to her individual needs. She also said she scored second in math in her school end of end-of-year assessment, answering some questions that the top performing student could not. :) I could also add that the administration was also very considerate of her busy schedule with regular school trips and sports engagements, allowing flexibility and making up for lost sessions. My child really likes his Mathnasium sessions. Received excellent support from tutors. Mathnasium sessions are flexible, you can pre-book sessions. My child is preparing for GCSE higher Maths exams, he always telling me that he appreciate the support he get from tutors. This place is amazing, my daughter loves it so much, she now finds Math even more fun and gets so motivated . Its not the classic way of having sessions and get stress with it, its a very nice way to learn , rewards plan in place , all tutors are young and friendly . Highly recommend it !

Since my daughter enrolled in these classes, her grades went up gradually. I know it’s a bit pricey but totally worth it. Mathnasium gave her more confidence. She first underwent a test to identify her level, she has since been working towards her goals to cover what she missed throughout the curriculum, which will allow her to continue working and master beyond the expected grades.

My children love Mathnesium and actually ask me to take them! They have a brilliant reward system and help the children build motivation in their work. Their confidence in their maths has hugely improved!
