Mathnasium Began With the Realisation That There's a Better Way To Teach Maths

My son absolutely LOVES going to Mathnasium, so much so that he has actually asked to increase the number of sessions he attends! The team has created such an encouraging and engaging environment that he genuinely looks forward to every visit. The star card reward system is brilliant. It’s simple, motivating, and incredibly effective in keeping young learners excited about their progress. The instructors really understand how to connect with children, making learning fun while still ensuring they’re challenged and growing in confidence. We’ve seen such a positive change in both his skills and his attitude toward maths. I truly cannot recommend Mathnasium Clapham highly enough. They are doing fantastic work, and we’re so grateful to be part of their community!

We have 3 children who have been enrolled at Mathnasium for over a month. When we arrived in the UK, we made the sad observation that the level of maths in France was about 4 years lower. They are in year 9, year 8 and year 5. Our children always go to school with pleasure, serenity and a desire to learn and progress. In just one month, their level has clearly improved. They feel more confident and more fluent in class. The progress is really amazing. Their skills workbook is structured to follow their path, their progress and their pace. Mathnasium is a learning centre that puts the child at the centre of their learning, makes them feel confident and builds strong skills. Mathnasium is a very serious, rigorous centre.

The most wonderful experience with the whole team at Mathnasium Fulham. Accommodating, welcoming, kind, thoughtful and understanding. My two who (boy 7 and girl 5) are home schooled and this has taken a lot of pressure off me as a working mother. I could not recommend this location enough. We are sad to move abroad and will miss everyone but we will definitely endeavour to make it work online as offered!

My child really likes his Mathnasium sessions. Received excellent support from tutors. Mathnasium sessions are flexible, you can pre-book sessions. My child is preparing for GCSE higher Maths exams, he always telling me that he appreciate the support he get from tutors. Teachers are passionate, motivating and friendly. My child has improved a lot, not only in Math but also in other subjects. Would definitely recommend Mathnasium for anyone whose child struggles in Math or would like to improve their Math skills!

My daughter is 7 and goes to Mathnasium in Muswell Hill. She has really struggled with maths, and was starting to avoid and stress about it. The team are so welcoming, they have a v well designed approach, using worksheets and assessment, assessing understanding and focusing on gaps, slowly building up skills and confidence. The staff are experienced, warm, welcoming and really care. She really enjoys going there. It’s expensive but it feels worth it.

My 7 years old daughter loves going to Mathnasium in Fulham Rd. The team is brilliant, very friendly and approachable. They know what they are doing and they have a very nice system - each kid gets a quite tailored programme. She has done amazing progresses in math but also she has improved her confidence overall! My 8 year old daughter absolutely loves this place. She is proud of having her own folder of tasks and appreciate the support she gets from the tutors. She also loves that she can make friends whilst also improving her Maths skills. Since she joined a couple of months ago, she happily attended at least 3 times a week, even after an extended day. Her tutors are warm and pleasant, patient and caring. She loves the spinning wheel which motivates her to stay focused and complete more tasks. As a parent, I found the centre very supportive and accommodating, with a family feel to it. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The children are all engaged and excited about their learning. The regular in depth feedback is extremely helpful too. I love that there is always something special planned, like engaging workshops or themed parties too. All in all, Mathnasium is a fantastic centre where children learn to thrive in Maths.

My daughter attended Mathnasium in Clapham for around five years, and during that time it significantly improved both her confidence and her ability in maths. She never once complained about going, which I think is a real testament to the quality, dedication, and character of the instructors at the centre. Most importantly, her attitude towards maths has been completely transformed. Excellent 11+ preparation and confidence booster! My son is currently in Year 5 and has been attending Mathnasium in East Sheen to help prepare for his 11+ exams. We have seen fantastic progress since he started. The structured approach has significantly boosted his academic skills, but more importantly, it has given him the confidence he needs for the exams ahead.
