I can not recommend mathnasium enough. All the instructors are very dedicated and the care, enthusiasm and energy that they put in to the students to help build the students confidence and create a positive connection to maths really is impressive. They truly do care. As a parent I have felt supported and encouraged myself and popped in many times for chats where I was updated with progress on my son and to see what he had achieved in a very short time really was impressive. My daughter has had the most positive experience with Mathnasium in Crouch End. She said she enjoyed the "focused, structured environment" and her tutors have been "very supportive and friendly". I second this, as her tutor regularly called me with updates and just to check in. My daughter's confidence in her ability improved significantly to the extent that she decided to opt for Further Maths as a GCSE option, and her school teacher fully supported this decision. My daughter enjoyed attending in-person sessions, describing them as "relaxed" and "low-pressure," where mistakes are part of the learning process and lessons are tailored to her individual needs. She also said she scored second in math in her school end of end-of-year assessment, answering some questions that the top performing student could not. :) I could also add that the administration was also very considerate of her busy schedule with regular school trips and sports engagements, allowing flexibility and making up for lost sessions. Lily’s confidence in maths and her ability has improved hugely! She loves attending and really enjoys it - making maths fun! The tutors and managers are all so friendly, fun, approachable & welcoming - they are all amazing and make the kids feel great at what they are achieving! Would highly recommend!

Mathnasium has been an excellent experience for our child. We have seen noticeable improvement in understanding and performance in Maths. There are engaging incentives to keep the children motivated such as star cards. In my experience, a child’s potential to learn a subject is substantially influenced by how much they enjoy it. Maths, typically, suffers in this regard. Not so, however, if your child is studying at Mathnasium on Lancaster Road, where some sort of alchemy is afoot. By way of a litmus test: One rainy, dark, freezing January afternoon, I suggested to my seven-year-old that she might want to go for an hour. Despite knowing full-well that none of her friends would be there, she broke into a smile and began putting her shoes on.

My son began attending Mathnasium in October. He has been learning a lot, making great progress, and really enjoying maths. I couldn't be more grateful for Atlas's improvement which is reflected by his teacher at school. Priya is an excellent mentor. She has been advising him not only in maths but also in other subjects and very kindly shares her expertise.My son is always happy to go there, even on weekends, and eagerly looks forward to it. My daughter Bella, who is 12 years old, has had a fantastic experience at Mathnasium. Before joining, she sometimes found certain maths concepts challenging and struggled with confidence in the subject. Since attending Mathnasium, her understanding has improved significantly, and maths has become much easier for her to understand. The instructors are patient, supportive, and explain concepts in a way that really makes sense to her. Bella now approaches maths with much more confidence and even enjoys tackling problems that would have previously frustrated her. We have seen a noticeable improvement in both her skills and attitude towards maths, and we’re very grateful for the positive impact Mathnasium has had on her learning. As a parent of two very different learners, I can’t recommend Mathnasium Teddington enough. One of my children has always struggled with maths and finds it hard to stay engaged, while the other absolutely loves it and is thriving. What’s been amazing is how the team here has managed to support both of them in such a thoughtful and encouraging way. The staff and management are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they do.

My children love Mathnesium and actually ask me to take them! They have a brilliant reward system and help the children build motivation in their work. Their confidence in their maths has hugely improved!

When I first heard about Mathnasium, I was very hesitant to enroll my kids. I wasn’t sure if an after-school math club would really make a difference—but after three months, I can confidently say it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made. Not only have both my kids learned a tremendous amount, but what truly surprised me is how much they love going. They look forward to their sessions so much! While Mathnasium’s teaching method is clearly effective, I believe the real magic lies in the environment. The atmosphere is warm, positive, and supportive. Nick, who leads the center, pours so much care and heart into everything, and it shows. The tutors are always welcoming, smiling, and genuinely eager to help. Another thing I appreciate is the regular assessments, either weekly or biweekly—which help track my kids’ progress. It gives me peace of mind to know they’re not just enjoying themselves but also improving and growing academically. If you’re on the fence like I was, (for almost 1 year) I highly recommend giving Mathnasium a try. It’s been a great!!

Our son goes there many times a week, on his own, because he really enjoys the activities and can strengthen his maths skills and knowledge. A fantastic team — learning Maths has never been so rigorous and so fun!
