Mathnasium staff has helped my son tackle math problems with more confidence and ease. I am very happy with their work with him. He was a student who hated Math and resigned to being “bad” at math. Mathansium has been a fixture in my child’s life for three years, so far. My child went from being on the verge of hating math to being really confident and having a solid foundation. Is it expensive? Yes, however you’re investing in your child’s future. If you’re looking for a quick fix to improve your child’s math scores on tests and state testing and expect it to last after you’ve been there for six months, be more realistic. I have confidence that as my child enters high school in a couple of years, a solid foundation will have been built and math will not be a subject that is feared, and worse off, hated. To me, this is the wisest investment we’ve ever made to help our child.

We LOVE Mathnasium! A couple years ago we lived in another state and were recommended Mathnasium for our older daughter who was struggling a bit with her 3rd grade math. After just less than a year going twice per week she made a remarkable turn around with her math skills. She not only LOVED math again, but was excelling. Fast forward to 2019 and our younger daughter is in the same situation-needing a bit of help and encouragement. We were THRILLED to see that a Mathnasium was opening up in Athens! As soon as we found out we signed her up. She has been attending now for a few weeks and really enjoys going. Sulu taught her a fun dice trick her first day and Rachel always meets her with a smile! My youngest has been struggling in math. We went with Mathnasium because it was a place that was offering consistency as well as giving confidence in his math abilities. While not the same topics, he got a B on his last math test so definitely heading in the right direction.

Very happy with Mathnasium Denville. Debbie does a wonderful job with making the environment so positive for the kids. The program is rigorous, and really helps with foundational gaps in their Math education. I wished I had signed up earlier, but saw the need for my kids once they reached high school. The hours are very flexible and accommodating to busy schedules. My kids have grown stronger and more confident in Math and we are very happy with the progress.

Oh man, I don’t even know how to fully express my gratitude for the staff, leadership and overall educational approach at Mathnasium. Our daughter (8) has struggled with math for years, to the point where homework ended in tears for both of us more times than I’d like to admit. We’ve been going to Mathnasium for a little over six months now, and the transformation has been incredible. She feels confident, even when she doesn’t fully understand something yet, she knows how to work through it. She’s not afraid of numbers anymore and she’s finding her own ways to practice, talking through problems out loud, and taking real pride in figuring things out.
